The Fleet Reserve Association Americanism-Patriotism Essay Contest

The Fleet Reserve Association (a Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard veteran's organization), which has several members of the MCL and American Legion as members, conducts an annual Americanism and Patriotism Essay competition, awarding over 20 thousand dollars in scholarships to young people in the 7th to 12th grades for a 350 word patriotic essay.  Your children, grandchildren, neighborhood children, or other young people you know can enter.  Just fill out the paperwork, have them write the  essay and submit it before Dec. 1st.
